The D37 is Atkin Guitars’ take on the classic dreadnought acoustic design. With its instantly recognisable golden hue and Atkin’s famed attention to detail, it’s the culmination of the company’s uncompromising approach to guitar building.

Atkin D37 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

Premium Dreadnought Design

Lovingly hand-crafted in the image of the classic pre-war Martin D-28 dreadnoughts (specifically the year 1937), Atkin left no stones unturned with the D37.

A Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood sides ensure stunning projection with a rich dynamic response. The depth of the body and the inclusion of scalloped bracing gives you a bold, booming tone while retaining detail and definition across all frequencies.

An aged nitrocellulose finish, herringbone purfling and a contrasting tortoiseshell pickguard complete the picture; the D37 looks the part in every respect.

Finish & Electronics Options

Atkin offer two types of finish for all of their guitars: aged and mirror finish. Both are nitrocellulose, but as the name suggests, the former has been painstakingly aged for that vintage vibe. It's also worth noting that while none of the Atkins come with built-in electronics, we'll happily fit some for you. The recommended systems are as follows:

Handmade in Britain

Based in Canterbury, UK, Atkin Guitars proudly offer a range of stunning hand-built acoustic guitars. Their highly-acclaimed instruments are widely considered some of the best on the market, and come with a certificate of authenticity and a lifetime warranty.

Founded in 1995 by Alister Atkin, the aim of the game is uncompromising tone. While all of Atkin’s instruments are handmade, they aren’t afraid to experiment with modern technology. This combination of traditional luthiery and an open-minded approach yields the same results time after time; the ultimate acoustic guitar experience.

As well as their core line, Atkin offer custom builds and are happy to take requests. If you've got any questions about tweaks to your Atkin acoustic, please get in touch with us.
