The custom Class D power amplifier at the heart of this monitor is a new design that drives the speakers in a more even and efficient way meaning there’s less wasted energy resulting in a clearer sound.

The newly designed speaker enclosure cuts down on unwanted resonance and the High density open cell acoustic Iso-foam pads separate the speaker from the enclosure to prevent vibrations dissipating through the surface. The enclosure also features a front-facing port a re-designed front port for impressive low-end extension.

Compatible with Android and iPhone, the KRK App offers feedback and assistance suggesting how to best set the EQ on the monitor manually in accordance with your sound-environment for the best results (App does not wirelessly pair with or control monitor).  It also aids with monitor placement, level matching, subwoofer level and crossover setting assistance, polarity, EQ, and even has a Signal Generator.
