The PG42USB is a high quality side-address Condenser Microphone powered by USB. It's principally designed for vocalists, but can capture a wide range of acoustic instruments too. It's simple to use, simple to set up and sounds great!
Designed for Vocalists
Principally designed for vocalists, the PG42USB features a large cardioid diaphragm that's extra sensitive to clearly reproduce the subtle nuances of lead vocal performances. This means that all the raw emotion and power in your performance will be picked up and recorded onto the track. So if your recording sounds dull and lifeless, it's probably worth you taking a break as it won't be the mic!
To make your recordings sound better right from the source, the Microphone comes with its own shockmount and has an integrated high pass filter that automatically cuts out some of the low end rumble that is not present in your voice but may be present in the background. There's also an attenuator that allows you to reduce the gain by -15db so that you can record louder sources without any clipping(distortion)
USB Connectivity
The Plug and play USB connectivity on this microphone allows you to take your recording setup on the go and get set up in no time, wherever you are. The Mic even comes with it's own carry case so that it doesn't get damaged in transit.
You don't need an audio interface or download special software to make it work. The PG42 USB has an integrated pre-amp with Microphone gain control, so you can just plug straight into your mac or PC using a standard USB port and start recording straight away on your preferred recording software.
The USB cable itself is 3 meters; plenty for a compact mobile recording setup. There's also an integrated headphone jack for pure monitoring and a monitor mix control that allows you to blend the direct sound with the playback of your backing track

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
