    Product Description

The Champion 20 has been a stalwart of Fender's amplifier lineup for many years. A step up from their entry-level Frontman amps, the Fender Champion 20 is a reliable solid-state amplifier that is designed for beginners and intermediates who are keen to upgrade from their first amp.

Featuring 4 selectable amp "voices" that range from classic Fender cleans to high-gain onslaught, the Champion 20 is a an incredibly versatile guitar amp that can cover a lot of sonic territory - especially with a bunch of built-in effects too!

    4 Selectable Amp Sounds

The Fender Champion 20 is surprisingly flexible despite its incredibly affordable price-tag. Equipped with 4 amp "voices" that span from pristine 'Tweed' and 'Blackface' Fender clean sounds to modern 'Brit' and 'Metal' modes, the Fender Champion 20 caters for many styles and can serve as an excellent tonal companion as you improve your playing skills.

    Built-In Effects

A range of built-in modulation and ambient effects let you easily embellish your guitar tones. Add some space with reverb or delay, or warp your core amp tone with some warbly chorus or otherworldly flanger and phaser effects. Want to perfectly time your delay and tremolo sounds? No problem! Simply use the 'Tap' switch to accurately set the effect rate.

    Modern Features

The Champion 20 is ultimately the perfect practice amp. There are a couple of extra functions that really improve its usability, including a 1/8" stereo input for playback of MP3s/CDs and a 1/8" headphone output for silent practice. It's never been easier to jam along to your favourite tunes!

Perfect bedroom amp, I bought this 20watt version after using the 100watt before from few pub gigs here and there and I'd highly recommend for beginners or even experienced players purely because of how nice it sounds. It has very nice clean tones as well as blues and rock effects that sound incredible, highly recommended

Excellent sounding amp for the size and cost. Possibly too big and loud for a small bedroom. Most of the time volume not above 2 especially when gain is at high level. Different amps sound good as do the varied effects.

This is a great little practice amp. No it won't compete against a loud band and drums, but that's not what it's for. My main amp is a Vox AC-30 which is just way too loud for practising in the house, so I was not playing as much as I liked cos of the complaints. This little baby however is tiny, has a massive range of sounds (amp simulations, effects like chorus and delay), and is really well priced. It doesn't have a huge amount of bass, but then what do you expect from an 8 inch speaker? The best sounds come from the Fender amp simulations, particularly the Tweed Champ (for Stones grit) and Princeton (for clean). The more heavily distorted tones sound a bit thin, but I wasn't expecting much else. If you want that, use a distortion pedal into the Princeton amp setting.

My first amp to initially play with my acoustic electric with the intention to purchase an electric guitar in very near future. As an amp user novice I am still on a learning curve.
