Grand Auditorium Shape

A Grand Auditorium acoustic has a medium-sized body that naturally produces bright crisp sounds. This shape is often used by singer/songwriters like Ed Sheeran because it accompanies vocals well. It works great in pop, folk and country music. The addition of a cutaway below the neck makes the guitar easier to play.

Construction

The type of wood an acoustic guitar is made from significantly alters the sound it produces. Walnut offers a beautifully warm sound, often coming with a premium price tag. A solid Spruce top adds clarity and colour to the sound of the guitar. The satin finish will protect it against bumps and scrapes and give it a raw, earthy look.

The Guitar is really well made, I love the neck. For a budget electro acoustic, the pickup is pretty natural as a piezo, which I normally don't like, but I think magnetic pickups look damn ugly.

This is a present but I bought it early to set it up properly. Very little needed doing and it is far better made than I had expected.

I am a long time recreational guitar player. I was looking for an acoustic guitar, possibly electro-acoustic, that was affordable, played quite easily and had a pleasing sound. I had seen the videos of the East Coast range and was impressed. I have to say, now I have one, what a bargain! It looks and feels great. I find it quite easy to play and the sound is as good as I was expecting. With a bit of amplification it's even better. If you are a casual guitarist or a beginner, I don't think you can go far wrong with East Coast.

Nice sound, not too big to use like a jumbo, really nice quality, has a built in tuner. The pickups sound really great. Love this guitar

Beautifully made & looking instrument, well set up & a joy to play, remarkable value for money. I’ve no reason to think durability will not be extremely good too given the right sort of treatment, but only time will tell that.
