The instructions leave a lot to be desired - make sure to watch some videos before you buy. However, it's a superb piece of equipment - varied, diverse, and with lots of options to play around with. An incredibly low price considering the quality.

Hard to beat for the money. Vco, Vcf and a sequencer, it's not a 303 but it will do for me.

Still learning to use this and exploring its full potential. Sounds great when connected to my Deepmind 12 via midi.

the only problem is that the Midi Thru does not seem to also be a midi out so it will not clock my Korg Volca .

Simple to operate, great starting point for synthesizers but offers quality sounds for more advanced. Great when linked to other kit like keyboards and beat makers.

Excellent value machine but the manual should be more detailed than it is. Thankfully there are some useful on line videos.

This is an excellent sounding analogue mono synth, especially at this price. The encoder knobs and switches feel a bit cheap, the rest feels pretty solid. Took me a while to learn the sequencer. A budget alternative to the Mother 32.

Great piece of kit, a little bewildering at first, but quickly picked up how to use it. So much more to learn. Sounds superb

Behringer do it again. An amazing sounding machine for very little money. Warning - a gateway drug to Eurorack!

So, a mono synth...yep got a few of them, based on the Moog. First things, it looks like it will last, knobs all solid and firm (ooooh errr), switches positive and erm 'clicky'. It is made out of metal with wooden end cheeks, and feels solid, the patch bay 3.5mm jacks again are good and solid, this just feels like it will last and take some brutalism. I spent a good while getting lost in it. Sounds are Moog like, and here is the first negative, and its not to do with the Crave. If I had spent 'Moog money' on this I would have been disappointed, the sounds are great, but not £500 plus great. But what Behringer have done is made a indispensible synth that just needs to be in my 'tool box'. that one oscillator can be bent into all kinds of sonic shapes and I am no expert with synths. I did my training on a Monotribe (I now own 2 and am looking for a third), and for performance, it beats the Crave hands down, easy to use and get some great stuff out of, but not as flexible with sound creation.....so, the Crave and Monotribe together......perfect. The Crave is more complex to program and the manual is shockingly bad....try looking at how to use the arp....and you will see what I mean. It is the musical equivilant of trying to get a screaming, temper tantrum inducing toddler into a car seat, the Crave is just as wriggly and awkward, and the istructions simply don't help at all. Back to YouTube, and I am cooking on gas again. Understanding how to use the multi function buttons is a truly nauseating experience when all I want is to get making some music. Still not sure how to connect to my CV Korg inputs, but thats probably me and my lack of geek knowledge and I will work it out. It sounds lovely and does what it should for a stupidly low price. I have one negative and that is the truly awful buttins for playing it that make an audible click each time you press it, but hey, for the price, I can live with that. I just know that had I spent Moog money, I would have been feeling shirt changed as this really does do the job and very well it does too. Righty ho, off to have a play. Buy one, they are fun.

Brilliant bit of kit. Cheap as chips versatile, massive sounding and with lots of neat functionality in the sequencer. Best used with an external controller. CV from the Microfreak is a great way of getting a load extra from both instruments

Excellent little synth at a bargain price. Lots of features and actually quite well made. Fun and really useable. Arguably, better value than the moog mother .

Fantastic synth, great way to learn patching and modular synthesis but also excellent for controlling VSTs in Abelton. The only thing I'm not mad about is the colour, but hey, I expect they didn't want Moog starting litigation on design features.
