Tony Franklin is perhaps one of the most famous proponents of the fretless bass guitar. Acclaimed for his countless session credits, Franklin is synonymous with the classic Precision Bass and Fender has now collaborated with the celebrated artist to create a unique signature model.
Able to deliver his style and powerful elastic tone, the Fender Tony Franklin Fretless Precision Bass offers a modern spin on a classic formula, sporting personalised Franklin features that include a pair of specially-voiced pickups and an ergonomic drop-D E-string tuner.
Body & Neck
The Tony Franklin signature P-Bass follows the classic Fender construction, featuring an Alder body and a "Modern C"-shaped Maple neck. While the Alder body serves as a balanced tonal foundation for the pickups, the Maple neck adds some crisp brightness to give notes extra clarity and articulation - critical on a fretless instrument. With both pieces covered in a traditional nitrocellulose finish, this particular model delivers an open sound with excellent resonance.
A sleek Ebony fingerboard gives the Fender Tony Franklin bass a luxuriously smooth feel under the fingers, allowing you to slide into notes with ease. Versatile Pickup Set

The pickups in this bass were specially-developed by Fender to meet Franklin's tonal requirements, with the Jazz Bass single-coil featuring ceramic magnets for greater sustain and output.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
