Truetone
US-based manufacturer Truetone was founded in the mid-90s under the name Visual Sound. Bob Weil, CEO, was searching for a new volume pedal, and grew frustrated with the fact that no volume pedals had visual volume gauges on them. He couldn’t tell how loud he was supposed to be!
He set about making his own, and as they say, the rest is history! Bob and his Tennessee team have made numerous pedals over the years, including the Jekyll & Hyde, purportedly the first true dual effect pedal, and the 1 Spot, the first compact pedalboard power supply.
Changing the name to Truetone in 2015, they continue to pioneer outside-the-box thinking with their range – their power supplies remain some of the most popular on the market! Check out our full Truetone selection below!
