Product Description

The Yamaha Pacifica 611HFM represents the very best in Yamaha's revered line of Pacifica electric guitars. The Pacifica 611HFM shoots for professional features and sound, good looks with no gimmicks and that 'a-little-bit-special' custom shop feel; all in a guitar which surprises many by coming in well below their budget for a high-spec guitar.

The main interesting features of the Pacifica 611 include the custom-wound Seymour Duncan pickups which in conjunction with all solid wood construction combine to produce a large variety of quality tones: Everything from powerful cleans right up to tight, high-gain distortion. The hardware Yamaha have chosen for the 611HFM is also uncompromisingly high-quality with locking Grover tuners and a Graph Tech String Saver saddle ensuring gig-worthy reliability and stable tuning.

The Pacifca 611HFM brings the idea of a high end guitar to a whole new level. By keeping the price astoundingly low, Yamaha have made the Pacifica 611HFM a guitar that more than meets the needs of gigging guitarists without an astronomical price tag. It looks the part and plays like guitars worth twice the price!

Yamaha Pacifica 611FM Guitarist Magazine Review:

Plugging the guitar in, it's immediately apparent just how versatile the Pacifica design is. The 611 is full and articulate all-round, with the neck P-90 especially worthy of a mention. It's the perfect mix of vintage soupy low-end and modest treble cut, which is ideal at low gains for bluesy bends and smooth, almost jazzy chords.

Yamaha's Pacificas have always ticked the value box, but this guitar adds an air of something more unique and desirable in the classic rock and blues cool of the 611: a good idea, well executed.

Pros: Great tones; Shrewd pickup choice; Excellent all-round performance. Cons: Nothing.

Just what the range needed - a wholly versatile, mid-priced Pacifica with great style and tones to match.

This guitar has amazing bang for the buck. I love the P90 and Humbucker Seymour Duncan set up along with Graph Tech saddles and Grover locking tuners for me at least makes it a winner. The only thing I don't really like is the shape as I much prefer a Telacaster shape.

Gorgeous guitar - physically and musically. A largely undiscovered gem - If it had Fender on the head it would easily sell for twice the price.
