Ibanez's RGD61ALA-MTR is one of the boldest entries to the Axion Label series thus far. Boasting a stealthy black body with a colour-changing 'Tropical Rainforest' bevelled edge finish — other key appointments include Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, Gotoh locking tuners, Schaller S-Locks strap pins, hard-wearing 'Sub Zero'-treated frets and a thin 'Nitro Wizard' multi-piece neck with an extended 26.5" scale length that's perfectly-made for drop tunings.
Contemporary Construction
Ibanez's flagship RG model has always been regarded as a premium guitar built solely for shredders. The RGD61ALA-MTR perfectly fits that mould, with a sharp body shape featuring deep cutaways that allow for effortless access to all 24 frets. Crafted from Ash, this sustain-rich material is tonally-balanced with a vibrant upper mid-range — a suitable host for the potent Fishman pickups.
Nitro Wizard Neck
The RGD61ALA-MTR's bolt-on 5-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck gives the guitar rigidity with plenty of top-end articulation — perfect for complex riffs or solos that need to cut through in a mix! The super-slender 'Nitro Wizard' neck shape makes fast passages a breeze to play too, while the luxurious Macassar Ebony fingerboard comes fitted with wide/tall jumbo frets that offer you maximum control under the fingers.
Fishman Fluence Modern Pickups
This elegant instrument is powered by a pair of high-output Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers. Capable of handling copious amounts of gain, these popular pickups provide an aggressive tone and a powerful attack without excess noise. But they're far from being one-trick ponies. That’s because these versatile pickups can dish out crisp and luscious tones with clean settings, especially when you use the voicing push/pull volume knob to change from a crushing contemporary sound to a softer and more fluid timbre. There's even a coil-tap switch too!
High-End Hardware
Ibanez has equipped its Axion Label models with only the finest hardware, to guarantee decades of reliable use and sublime playability. The proprietary 'Mono-Rail' bridge is designed for optimal resonance, with its independent saddles ensuring minimal "cross-talk" between the strings for amazing note clarity. The Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads achieve incredible tuning stabillity, and significantly cuts down string-changing time so that you can spend more time playing!

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
