April Fools' Day 2018

Following the success of the Wampler Psychosomatic Drive, Andertons Music Co. has been at it again for April Fools’ Day.

We built two Frankenstein guitars under the pretence that Carlos Santana and Slash had designed brand new signature models with Fender, breaking decades of tradition and loyalty to Paul Reed Smith and Gibson respectively.

Meet The Carloscaster & The Slashocaster

The guitars are one of a kind, born out of the Andertons Skunkworks; which is to say they were crafted by our wonderful in-house technicians using genuine Fender, Epiphone and PRS parts.

Within a week the video has amassed over 170,000 views, with dozens of bids being placed on the accompanying product listings. All of the proceeds from the sale of the Carloscaster and Slashocaster are being donated to a great cause.

Support The Teenage Cancer Trust

The Teenage Cancer Trust create world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone. Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. The Teenage Cancer Trust is dedicated to making sure they get expert treatment and support throughout their journey.

Both guitars have sold, thanks to our always generous followers! We’re delighted to say we’ve raised £2,000 for this incredibly worthy cause.
