Mahogany is used for the back and sides; mahogany is known for being lightweight, resonant and having a pretty grain pattern, making it an excellent wood for acoustic building. Mahogany is also used on the top, which gives you a wonderfully organic appearance and a wholesome, warm tone!
The curves of this guitar have been carefully calculated with reference to the acoustics of old; this means an ergonomic playing experience without sacrificing tone. The real treat with the TM-15+ is the fact that it offers great tone and playability while being amazingly compact; perfect for the travelling musician!
Combine all of this with the lightweight mahogany neck and the unusual micarta fingerboard, and you've got a beautifully organic cocktail of resonant tones at your disposal! The hardware is understated, with chrome tuners and a micarta bridge, perfectly complimenting the organic mahogany grain.
