How Loyalty Points Work
What are points worth?
Points are worth a 1p discount for every point you redeem. For example, if you have 1000 points, you can redeem them for a £10 discount on any purchase.
How many points will I earn when I shop?
We display the number of points available for a product on the product's page on our website. Normally we'll give you one point for every pound you spend, but watch out for double and triple points deals for even more savings!

Choose a voucher between £10 and £500 to spend on absolutely anything on our website, over the phone or in the Guildford-based store. A couple packs of guitar strings? A whopping great keyboard? Whatever your special someone is after.
Please note: When purchasing an Andertons E-Gift voucher, you will receive a gift voucher email containing a unique voucher code. This code can then be used in our online checkout, or quoted over the phone or in store. The email you will receive is designed to be printed or forwarded to the recipient. You will not receive a physical gift voucher or card in the post.
On our E -Gift Voucher page, you can type in any value you like up to £500 and get an electronic gift voucher for that amount.
When you buy an E-Gift Voucher online, you will be sent an e-mail containing your voucher code. You can forward this email to the recipient of your choice, or print it out and give it to them as a gift. When the recipient wants to redeem the voucher, they just have to enter the Voucher Number into the box provided on our online basket page.
If you buy multiple gift vouchers (e.g. 3 x £10 E-Gift Voucher) you will get three separate e-mails which is perfect if you have lots of musicians amongst your friends and family!
If you buy an e-gift voucher online, you can also spend it in our store, or over the phone. Simply print your voucher email and bring it to the store.
In-store
Ask a member of staff in store for a gift voucher, and they will give you a plastic gift card and credit it with any amount you like from £10 to £500.
If you buy a gift card in store, you can spend it online too. In the online basket, click the "Redeem Gift Voucher" button and enter the voucher number on the back of your card.
Gift Voucher Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy a physical gift voucher online?
Unfortunately our website does not yet support this. When purchasing an Andertons E-Gift voucher, you will receive a gift voucher email containing a unique voucher code. This code can then be used in our online checkout, or quoted over the phone or in store. The email you will receive is designed to be printed or forwarded to the recipient. You will not receive a physical gift voucher or card in the post.
If you require a physical gift card, please visit or call our store. For insurance purposes, a small charge will apply for delivery with a national courier.
Can I use my gift voucher on your website and in your shop?
Yes. To redeem a gift voucher, all you need is the voucher number on the back of the gift card (bought from our store) or in the E-Gift Voucher e-mail.
How long is my gift voucher valid for?
Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. Any remaining credit on the gift voucher after this time will expire on this date and you will be unable to spend it, so please make sure you shop with us soon!
What are the minimum and maximum amount I can have on a voucher?
Online or in store the minimum is £10. The maximum you can put on a gift voucher is £500. You can purchase multiple gift vouchers if you wish to purchase more gift credit.
How do I check the balance on my gift voucher?
Simply visit our online E-Gift Voucher page, enter the voucher number, and click the button to check your balance.
Do I have to spend all the money on the voucher at once?
No. If you do not redeem the full value of the gift voucher, the remaining balance will remain on your voucher until the next transaction.
Can I pay for part of an order with a gift voucher, and the rest with another payment method?
Yes. Gift vouchers can be used as part-payment for a transaction.
Can I redeem multiple gift vouchers in one transaction?
Yes. This can be done in store and online. To do this online, add your first voucher, click redeem, then repeat the process with the additional voucher number/s.
What happens if I lose my plastic gift card?
Please treat the gift card as you would cash. Don't lose it, and don't leave it anywhere that someone may be able to take it, and copy the voucher number. Andertons cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen gift cards, so keep it safe!
What happens if I lose my e-Gift voucher number?
Please treat the voucher number as you would cash. Andertons cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen e-gift vouchers. The voucher number in the e-mail is your "cash" so keep it safe! We cannot replace the credit attached to the voucher number, so do not lose it.
What happens if I don't receive the e-Gift voucher email?
Please check your junk mail folder, and ask your network administrator if there are any additional levels of e-mail security where the e-mail may have been "trapped". If you are still unable to find the e-mail, please contact us by phone or e-mail.
Can I redeem my loyalty points and redeem a gift voucher in the same transaction?
Yes.
Can I buy anything with my gift voucher?
Yes. Anything from our store except another gift voucher!
Can I exchange my gift voucher for cash?
No. Once the gift voucher is bought, no exchanges are possible.
I have an old-style paper gift token, can I still use it?
Yes, but only in our store and only if it is within its validity period.
What's the difference between a "gift card" and an "e-gift voucher"?
Nothing really. The important bit is the voucher number that you receive. When bought in store, we give you a plastic gift card with the gift voucher number printed on the back, and when buying a gift voucher online, we send you the voucher number in an e-mail.
Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions
Gift vouchers can be redeemed at the Andertons Music Co store and online (subject to website terms and conditions). They may be exchanged for goods of a higher price than the face value of the voucher on payment of the difference. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. In store gift vouchers can be activated with a minimum value of £10 (no minimum online) and have a maximum value of £500. Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of the last transaction. Any remaining balance will be cancelled on expiry of the validity period. If any product purchased with a gift voucher is subsequently exchanged for a product of a lower price or a refund, any money owing will be added to the remaining balance on the voucher. If you do not spend the entire balance on the gift voucher, the remaining balance will be updated after each transaction and show on your printed till receipt. Gift vouchers should be treated as cash. They are not cheque guarantee, credit or charge cards. Andertons will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers, Andertons reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of gift vouchers at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the voucher, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your legal rights.
