The compact M-Audio Midiman MIDISPORT 2x2 Anniversary Edition interface addresses 32 x 32 discrete channels of MIDI I/O via USB, making it ideal for simultaneously connecting multiple MIDI devices to your computer, as well as eliminating delays associated with long MIDI THRU chains. Standalone functionality also gives you MIDI throughput and merge capabilities. Bus-powered architecture provides the option of totally mobile operation.

The MIDISPORT 2x2 was first introduced in 2000-and quickly became the world's most popular USB MIDI interface. I bought the M-Audio Midisport 2x2 Anniversay edition so that I could connect my Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra to the on line tone exchange and upload / download user presets.
Admittedly I know very little about midi equipment and bought this item as it was recommended by several Axe-Fx users worldwide on the Fractal Audio on-line forum.
I'm delighted to say that the box is really well made and does a great job. I can connect to the necessary software with no problem at all...and if I can do it, then I suspect you can too!

Really nice product with up to date drivers on the m audio site even for 64bit windows vista etc. Easy to set up. My only fault is the price, seems a tad expensive. Get it in the midnight black edition- looks really sleek! Overall I reccomend if you can afford it
