Fender PT100 Pedal Tuner

Pedal tuners are an integral part of the live guitarists rig. The Fender PT100 is a sturdy, die-cast pedal with a clear blue LED display, which makes mid-set tuning a breeze.

Here's what Fender say about the PT100

The Fender PT 100 is an update of the industry standard PT10 pedal tuner. An easy-to-read LED note indicator has replaced the note indicating LED bar. As an additional upgrade, the flat/sharp LEDs have been changed from red to blue for a more modern look. It's like having the PT10 and ST1 in one tuner!

I've only had this pedal for a few weeks, but it seems really good so far !

It's a very reasonable price (for a tuner pedal). It's very easy to use, and the light is very bright (so I'd imagine that even tuning on an outside stage would be fine). I also own several boss pedals, and have the boss AC adaptor and cable; I was therefore concerned about getting a non-boss pedal to go with my setup, however I have had no problem daisy-chaining it to the other boss pedals for the purpose of rehearsal powering.

2 very minor things to point out - 1) It is quite heavy, compared to some other tuner pedals (for example the Boss TU3) and 2) the labels on the side of the pedal are a little confusing, i.e. there are 2 "outputs", and it is not immediately obvious (without looking at the manual) which is the bypass and which is the actual output.

But on the whole, I remain pleased with my purchase.
