TC Level Pilot Mixing knob
TC Level Pilot Mixing Knob
When you're recording with a computer, it's all to easy to allow your ideas to be overshadowed by the complexities and plain hassle of the setup. That's why people are spending huge sums of money developing new products to eliminate mouse clicking and having to move around all the time. You want everything to be in easy reach at all times.
The TC Electronic Level Pilot is all about speed. When you have active monitors and want to adjust the level, you either have to use the dreaded mouse and change software settings, or turn each one up or down individually. The TC Level Pilot is so simple - it's a big silver volume knob that you can place anywhere on your desk so that volume changes, which we all do a lot, are so simple!
Here's what TC say about the Level Pilot
The TC Electronic Level Pilot gives you immediate level control exactly where you need it - right at your fingertips.
The TC Electronic Level Pilot fits into any active speaker setup quickly and easily and with less clutter and wires. This results in convenient and high-precision control over your levels where you would ideally want it, right at your fingertips.

The dial is very well built and works very well, with no apparent alteration in sound quality once put into the signal chain. Aesthetically it is brilliant. The only slight niggle is that the break out cables to the speakers are not really long enough, so remember to buy extra XLR cables for speaker runs. I would recommend this product to anyone with a computer based DAW system.
