We bought this as a Christmas present for our son who had started learning on a cheap 3/4 size classical. I tried it out before buying and tone & playability are better than some other guitars costing more. It has an adjustable neck so you can tweek the action if you need to. It's feels a bit light-weight and there are no fancy inlays in the woodwork. Yes, it's a starter guitar but good enough to keep a beginner going and improving for a few years before they invest in a better instrument. My son's very pleased with it and at the price I think it's a bit of a bargin!
