Legend has it that the original Red Special was built in his dads shed!! Such is the interest in the Brian May Red Special Guitar that Mr May has actually started his own guitar making company, so that everybody can own an authentic Brian May Red Special replica guitar.

build quality by itself is very good.
versatile sounds can by made by the different settings.
however setup was of.
zero fret was to high, so this had to be adjusted along with the nut.
as was the intonation.

Whether you are looking for an electric guitar that offers something different from the major brands and styles, or you just have to have a guitar like Brian's, the Brian May Guitar fits the bill.
This guitar has a really nice fit and finish for a Korean made model, and the three quality pick ups and the versatile selector switch system offer many more usable tone options than just the obvious classic BM sounds.
While the Cherry Red is an obvious choice, there are several other attractive colors and finishes on offer and the range is growing. The included quality padded gig-bag is a nice addition in this price range.

For the price you'll be hard pushed to beat this even if your not a Brian May fan. There is some really good cheaper guitars around, but the tones available with the switching.

This is an awesome guitar for the price. I am still in the early days of learning how to play but the quality and range of sounds that this guitar can produce is truly spectacular. With the custom circuitry it is very easy to flick a switch to change the phase on any given pickup and completly change the tonal qualities of the resulting sound.
The construction of the guitar is also top-notch. The action and intonation are perfectly setup out of the box. The neck is slightly wider than many other guitars but I like this as it is easier for me to fret certain chords that I found very cramped on other instruments. This guitar really is a pleasure to play. Highly recommended.

I cannot descibe how good the Brian May Signature Guitar really is. It is a joy to look at and its even better to play. The tones and sounds you can make are superb. It can be as subtle as a whisper or as roaring as a lion. The tri-sonic pickups sound great. I can't believe I got a top notch guitar for such a low price and with the free gig bag you can carry it with you in style. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone. Whether you are a guitar hero or a complete novice with this axe you simply can't go wrong!
