The Ibanez RG870QMZ is a fast playing guitar with mean looks and plenty of modern flexibility. A lot of attention to detail has been applied to every aspect of the RG870 to ensure that this guitar plays great and stays great!
Here's what Ibanez say about the RG870QMZ
RG models are made to be played, and played a lot. Among our various lines, the RG Premium is recognized as the ultimate workhorse guitar for today's hardworking musician. The combination of brand new Ibanez Edge-Zero II tremolo with ZPS, and elaborated craft processes, promises you perfect tuning stability and playing comfort. Also the original CAP-VM pickups specially designed for the Premium RG maximize the potential of the gear to produce the tone you desire.
Premium Fret Edge Treatment
The premium fret edges are processed to be specially rounded for smooth play and comfortable neck grip.
RG Premium guitars produce the tone of great diversity, from pure clean to aggressive distortion sound with newly developed pickups, CAP-VM1, VM1S and VM2 which work in great combination that enables such versatile characters. Also, minimum sound loss by adopting OFC coil.
Edge Zero II
Installation of the zero point system in the Edge Zero II makes tuning easier and faster as well as providing stable tuning for long performances, all while maintaining smooth tremolo playing. Loss of tuning is kept to a minimum even when a string breaks. For players that prefer a full floating system, simply remove the stop bar.
ZPS (Zero Point System)
No friction points make the ZPS the smoothest Ibanez Back Stop ever.
An additional outer pair of springs provides easier tuning and better tuning stability than the traditional floating tremolo-plus the other strings will remain in tune if a string breaks.
Switchable To Floating Trem
One of the best ZPS features! Just remove the stop bar and the ZPS easily changes to floating trem operation.
Manually Adjustable Spring System
Spring tension can be quickly set by thumb. There's no need for a hex wrench.

From the instant I picked up this guitar, I knew it was the perfect guitar for me and I haven't put it down since.
The neck is incredibly thin and smooth, with plenty of access to the upper frets.
The pick-ups are clear and powerful and give clarity when playing heavy/fast music.
The middle pick-up is beautiful for playing clean as it gives a crystal clear tone.
The body is lightweight and thin, lighter than all of my other guitars and to top it all off it has one of the nicest finishes I have ever seen.
I would recommend this guitar to anyone and everyone I could.
