The Chapman Guitars ML2 is a revolution in guitar manufacturing... YOU - the customer - decided what guitar you wanted! Rob Chappers aka the Monkey Lord headed the collaborative guitar design process, guided by Chapman guitar customers.
The Custom ML2 is whatever instrument YOU want it to be! You can add your own pickups, own tremolo and other custom parts if you wish. All you have to do is decide what you want (make sure it's actually possible first!) then ask us to get you a quote. We can even help with organising and fitting parts!

His latest venture - Chapman Guitars - started with the ingenious idea of letting the people who are buying the guitars, actually design them too! Rob asked all of his fans what they'd like to see on the Chapman ML2 Guitar. Once a concencus was reached, he had the plans sent off to the factory and the guitars, as designed by Rob's fans, were made. The Chapman ML2 is the result!

So How Do I Customise My ML2?
Check out the links below - they have some of our most popular customisations for pickups, bridges and tuning pegs. All you have to do is add this guitar plus the products you want to your shopping cart, and we will consider this as your custom order.
So for example, if you want an ML2 with a chrome Floyd Rose Trem, first add the ML2 Custom to your basket, then click the link to the floyd rose page and add the Floyd Rose Chrome Tremolo product to your basket as well.

Coil Tapping

Can I have a custom finish?
The ML2 comes in a natural mahogany wax finish. If you want a custom finish, we will put you in touch with the official custom artist for the ML2 - Svee of www.sveeart.com. We will send the guitar to Svee for its custom finish, and he will send it back to Andertons for the rest of the custom work to be completed. We will then send the guitar to you. Svee will invoice you directly, but Andertons will still handle the delivery of your order.
Scalloping
We can offer scalloping on your ML2. Prices vary depending on how many frets you would like scalloped so contact us for a quote. Check out the pictures below of a scalloped ML1.
