Epiphone Les Paul Plustop PRO/FX in Cherry Sunburst

The new Les Paul Traditional Plus Top takes the Les Paul to a completely new level. It's not very often you see a tremolo arm on a Les Paul (certainly not in this price range anyway), but Epiphone have recognised the demand for a rugged tremolo design for those who will only ever take to the stage with a Paul.

The Plustop guitars also feature Alnico Classic and Classic Plus pickups. These are 4 wire humbuckers and Epi have built in coil tapping functions for each pickup via two push/pull volume pots. This is the most versatile Epiphone guitar yet, and you don't even have to do any modding!

Other nice touches include the inclusion of straplocks, Grover Tuners, a Flame Maple top on Mahogany body, Limited Edition logo and locking nut.

The Pro FX Series is tonally versatile, and you can enjoy professional features straight out of the box unlike any other official Les Paul before it. This is a lot of guitar for the money!

A fantastic bargain at £469 (iirc), extremely good quality guitar, the finish is beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice.

It sounds really great on my HiWatt MaxWatt G50, lovely both clean and overdrive and the free £69 case is very good too.

    Very pleased :)
