The Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 is made with a mahogany and rosewood neck, alder/maple body, smooth 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, and chrome hardware, this guitar is every bit as handsome as a Gibson. Features 2 Epiphone humbucking pickups that deliver long, singing sustain and true Epiphone Les Paul tones.

This is a great guitar, perfect for beginners like me. I had just started playing on a cheap acoustic, and wanted to take my playing to the next level. Its got a good action, sounds great and is at a great price. If you want a first guitar, buy this. It sounds nearly as good as a £750 Gibson Les Paul, but you get change from £150. I have a Line 6 Spider 3 15 watt amp, and it sounds great. Buy it, don't think twice.

I bought this guitar for my 13 year old son on recommendation by his uncle. He had hardly played an electric guitar before and this model has been fabulous. Just the right size, easy to play, good sound using a small practice amplifier.
He is thrilled with it and I think it will last along time. I would deffinately say it was a good buy for the money.
