Shipping Costs Explained
Andertons Music Co only use a nationwide next day courier service for delivering customer orders. The standard cost for next day delivery is £10 per order (not per item) - this will be added to your bill when you get to the shopping cart phase. Some larger items will incur a higher delivery charge. Typically delivery of acoustic drum kits & digital pianos will cost more that say a guitar or a keyboard. These higher delivery charges will be shown when you get to the shopping cart stage. As a guide, drum kits will cost between £25-£30 to deliver & digital pianos will cost between £40 & £50 to deliver. Please inform us in advance if your address is on a first floor or higher, as our normal courier service may not be able to deliver heavy items to these types of addresses. Please also note that our standard delivery service does not include any set up of the equipment once it has been delivered. And lastly, please be aware that our couriers require a signature when they deliver your parcel - they are not allowed to leave parcels at your premises unless they are signed for. If you have any questions about delivery, please call us on 01483 456733. "In Stock - 24 Hour Delivery" If an item displays this message then the item is currently showing as in stock. Orders that are placed before 11am will be shipped the same working day for delivery the following working day. eg, goods ordered by 11am on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. Goods ordered after 12 11am on a Friday & up to 12 11am on the Monday will be delivered on the Tuesday. Please note that "working days" do not include weekends or bank holidays. If there are any problems meeting these delivery deadlines we will let you know by email within 5 working hours of reciept of your order. "Usually Ships in 4-7 Days" If an item displays this message then the item is currently unavailable direct from our warehouse. Most items are available from our suppliers so that we can deliver to you within 4-7 working days. On receipt of your order our online sales team will get a more accurate delivery date from our suppliers & email you with this date - normally you will have our reply 3-5 working hours after placing your order. If the delivery date is unacceptable then you can cancel the order with no questions asked. Your credit card is not debited until the goods leave our warehouse. Tracking Your Order Once your order leaves Andertons, you will be sent an email containing all the info you need to track your order. The couriers we use all have tracking facilities via their web sites and the email we send you will contain everything you need to track the parcel from your door to ours! Close Window |
