The Mapex Meridian Maple is high quality professional standard drum kit that includes all of the Shells above. Maple is well known for its fantastic tonal qualities, in particular a great snappy and punch tone that's ideal from drums!
We love this kit. When you play it you can't help but feel instantly empowered and ready to take over the world. Sitting behind the monstrous 22x20 bass drum is like wielding the power of a cannon (perhaps a little less dangerous yes) but it packs such a punch whilst remaining responsive, you are given a huge dynamic to play with, opening up creative possibilities not before experienced.
The shallow 10x7 and 12x8 rack toms attack at pitches that sit way above the kick and cut through those massive frequencies whilst the shallower 16x14 floor tom punches with attack whilst keeping it's lower end tone and drive. The all Maple 14x5.5 snare drum backs things up and will tune effortlessly to give the sound you want either low and loose or tight and high.
The bass drum is un-drilled to maximise resonance, likewise, the rack toms are mounted separately for limitless positioning possibility and ultimate resonance.
