Powerbank DC9X 10 Way FX Pedal Power Supply

To get going with your pedals nice and quickly this a good place to start, but you're obviously getting what you're paying for. Everything's all together so you can connect ten 9v pedals right away.

If you want to connect non 9v pedals, or you you're concerned about hum or excess noise with a large number of pedals, go for something that isolates each pedal like the Voodoo lab power supply. But for the money, this will get you started and its pretty reliable.

Seems alright for the price so far. Simple to set up. Good build quality if a little flimsy. There is some hiss/noise and with certain pedal configurations this is exacerbated but for amateur live performance I would recommend this power supply unit.

Great item - really useful. Good selection of different length leads.

Also, it creates less signal hum (i.e. none) than a power supply I got WITH one of my pedals, which has to be a good thing, eh?

Very nice little power unit. I bought it to replace a daisychain power unit that was creating alot of hiss. I get none with this unit, unless I run too many 'gain' pedals ;o)

Something that was not obvious from the ad was that it comes with a load of cables of various different lengths.

For the price it is well worth the money, and ideal for powering small pedal boards.

It does feel light, but should be robust enough for gigging, provided it is protected from being stomped on.

Very useful and does exactly what its supposed to and for a great price. It has not put any unwanted noise into the pedal chain and has enough power leads at varying lengths for most configurations. Very happy with it and highly recommend it.

No noise, fits on underside of Pedal Train 2. I only need 9V supplies, so no need for the extra cost of T-Rex etc. Carefull positioning of Powerbank and pedals meant that I didn't have enough short cables and had to tape excess long cable to the underside of the pedal train. Where cables plug into unit, feels like it could be more secure and robust, but no problems yet. Excellent for the price though.

Product works well and cuts down on the need for multiple power supplies.

I got this unit free from Andertons, as I purchased two Boss pedals. It is very easy to position and use, due to its relatively compact size and differing individual power cable lengths. It is so much easier to use than "daisy chain" cables and is quiet in operation too. Excellent! However, beware...because I now have a second pedal board, which means even more pedals. Doh..!!

I was looking to power about 6/7 pedals on a pedal board but didn't want to pay powerbrick prices. Andertons home brand power block is a fantastic solution to my pedal board problems. It is a small and compact unit with an on/off switch (can be left plugged in onstage) and can power up to 10 pedals at once. The unit isn't noisy as far as I can tell, saying that, I've not really tested it all that greatly. The only thing I can see as being a problem, the unit is a reasonably thin plastic construction, which I can't see lasting for a great deal of time, but for the price, I'm not complaining.

Bottom line - If you don't want to pay though the nose for the big brand power solutions, this is a great second place.

I bought this to build up a small pedal board with a Pedal Train Nano for a side project I'm doing with another band.. I didn't want to spend a lot of money as I already have a main board with A Voodoo Labs PSU etc. & this more than suits the job - plenty of outlets & cables - great for the money!

Great little box of power! Wasn't expecting it to be as light as it is but that's good for transporting on my pedal board. Doesn't take up too much room either - my current pedal board is made out of a chopping board! You get a bunch of connecting cables for your pedals some longer than others so if your power is on the other side of your board to your pedals, it'll easily reach. Only negative I would say it has would be the power cable is a little bit short but that could be sorted on stage using an extension cable.

Good basic little power supply that doesn't create a ridiculous amount of hiss. You will most likely choose a pro model later down the line but this serves a good purpose for home use or if you are just running a couple of pedals.

what a great product, its a really cheap and efficient way to power loads of 9v pedals. The unit itself is not too big so takes up little room on my pedal board. The length of the leads may be an issue if you have a huge pedal board but work perfectly for my setup.

The power supply does everything it says it does. I run 9 pedals with it. The only problem i can mention is the cable length. you get 10 cables and they are all around 12" long i had to use longer ones from another power brick i had as they didn't reach all my pedals.

Fantastic unit, which easily powers my two guitar pedals and a vocal effects/harmoniser pedal (all Boss). Very reasonably priced, neat and easy-to-use.

On the whole a very good power supply. It will power MOST pedals. I only had trouble with one, and that is because the pedal requires 200ma, whereas the maximum output available from each power supply is only 100ma. Whilst this is ok for most pedals, there will always be some, slightly more obscure pedals that it won't power. Overall, for the money, a fantastic product and well worth having.

Perfect for the average player, i've had no overheating problems, same *high pitch noise* as always but is avoided with ease. Absolutly perfect

An excellent piece of equipment to purchase. This item is ideal as it will power upto 10 effe3cts pedals (with negative tip) and saves you a fortune in 9v batteries. Very well priced aswell as most items of the same nature are a lot more expensive than this was.

Would recomend this item and also the service provided by Andertons music, very fast delivery and communication.

Cheap to buy and feels cheap once removed from the packaging. The first one I got didn't work, so Andertons sent me a new replacement (great service!). OK at the moment, but feel that I might have been better off saving my pennies and buying something more expensive/better build quality.

This product is brilliant and powers all my 9v pedals with no problems at all. For £29.99 it is probably the greatest value for money I have ever experienced with any product. The build quality isn't amazing, but you get what you pay for, and at a 1/3 or 1/4 of the cost of most high end power supplies you can't complain. I actually broke my first unit by powering a huge multi fx pedal that it wasn't suited for and had no reservations in purchasing this same power supply as a replacement.

Supplies power to my six pedals with no signs of overheating. The Powerbank DC9X Guitar Effects Power Supply is small and very light. It would have been nice to have some way to fix the power supply to my home made pedal board. I'll just have to use cable ties instead.

The DC9X is made of light plastic so would not stand too much abuse. Fixed to my pedal though, it should be fine.

Overall, good value for the money!

I have given this unit 5 stars as there are no significant faults that I can find. I am using the unit to supply five gadjets and it might be useful to supply one or two power cables that are longer than those supplied - then they could reach around some of those twin and multi pedals more easily!

Looks good, works very well, no noise I can detect and most satisfyingly it has a three pin plug. My old Boss ASA supply had a two pin round pin plug - always falling out.

Best thing - you can plumb this into your system and just forget about it!!

Good bit of kit. Bought as an alternative to more expensive power units for my pedal board and does a good job. Far less mess than having separate power units. Would get 5 stars if it came with different styles of jack plug for the different makes of pedals out there. No need to spend £100+ when you can have this!

Excellent product, so far hasn't let me down. I honestly can't understand why anyone would spend £100 on a branded Multi-power supply, when this does the trick for under a third of the price! It doesn't affect sound or lack of power, it's perfect for what I need.

I brought this to power my 4 pedals. Will power up to 10 (giving me an excuse to expand my pedal board, never a bad thing!)

Reasonable value.

Only slight problem is when turning this on (when amp is on) produces a loud high pitch noise. Haven't worked out the exact cause, but if I turn the pedals on before the amp it eliminates the problem (so might possibly just be feedback).
