This does it's job perfectly. Can't really be enthusiastic about it as you don't play it and it's not fun to look at. It just does all it needs to. I'd see it as a compulsory buy if you have 2 pedals because you'll spend so much more on 9V batteries than the one off payment for a power supply. Some of you may enjoy licking that battery for the shock, but times are changing and purchasing economically is important...

Great quality power supply which has a very tough cable, something which often fails in the cheaper unit which you can pick up on Ebay. Boss as a company really impresses me. It has been used for several months now and it just reinforces what I know already, always buy original kit and it won't let you down.

Best pedal lead I've seen so far. Long, durable and can with stain any type of gig. Would recommend it for anyone who owns a pedal.

This does the job it set out to accomplish and that is to power Boss pedals. It is a shame however that it does not fit all pedals for power supply. The cable is a good length allowing me to bring my pedals right up to my pedal board. It also allows me to not be concerned with batteries running dry during a gig!

    Boss PSA230 Power Supply

If you need a simple 9 volt adaptor, buy one of these. It's not obvious until you compare it to a nasty cheap one from an electrical retailer, but these don't add hum or mess with the sound.

There is not a lot you can say about the Boss power supply, other than it does exactly what it says on the tin. Its just what I needed. Plus it was free with the ME70 and that's why I bought the unit at Andertons. Good product, great service.

The Boss PSA-230 power adaptor is designed to power all the current range of Boss FX.

Having bought one to power my latest aquisition, the Boss ME-20 multi FX, it definitely does what it says on the box. It has a very useful green indicator light on it too, so you can see when it's on !

Call me old fashioned, but my only gripe with this, and indeed all modern PSUs, is that the mains cable looks rather flimsy. But I guess that's how they make 'em these days !

There are so many ways of powering pedals , even some boss tuners act as power supplies for other pedals but this power supply for a single pedal dose what it's made to do , though in common with many individual 9v power supplies it is not that sturdy . I would not recommend it unless you are in need of a stop gap power supply or only intend it for home use . Personally I got it because I'd just bought a fulltone MDV2 which though a great pedal , rather bizarrely for a unit bought in the UK , came with a US. power supply which was not compatible with UK three pin mains power out lets & as I am in the process of going back to individual effects as opposed to multi effects units its to early for me to know what supply to buy when it comes to powering all my 9v pedals but this has done the job for the MDV2 as a stop gap.
