Electronic Drum Kit Pro Accessory Pack

- received as a "free of charge" pack to a Roland TD-9K Electronic Drum kit.

Whilst my mother taught me to be grateful for everything received especially if it is a gift I am sorry to say that I was disappointed in this case, - this pack I though was meant to be an incentive to order a drum kit, - not sure it is that, - more a few things to get you going when you start out.

When I ordered my kit the picture of accessory kit showed a Mapex stool/throne, Vic Firth sticks and what looked like a decent pedal. However what arrived did not match up. - A cheaply made stool (CB drums) that is not great, - no swivel, - and bolts that come undone with drum playing movement. The sticks were from Stagg and a pedal branded as Basix..The Stagg headphones are okay though! I will be buying a new stool and pedal at some point, - already got myself some VicFirth's!

Like a say a gift so thank-you Andertons for including items to get me going but it was a little economy compared to the drum-kit.

I recieved the pro accessory pack as a free gift for purchasing an electronic kit. I am a drummer and I do have sticks throne and kick pedel but as a package it was good quality hardware essential for getting started for someone without the equipment and itching to get going. For value for money I would imagine it would be hard to buy the items individually elsewhere for less, the quality was good and the headphones were a nice addition as I had purchased an electronic kit.

Fantastic idea of Andertons to give this free when buying the Yamaha Electronic drum kit. Why? Well, Yamaha didn't provide a pedal for the Kick Pad (indeed... very strange, no??).

But giving also a drum chair, drum sticks and headphones is a fantastic idea, since it allows you to try and play the drum kit immediately after having received and mounted it.

Can you imaging the face expression of the buyer of an electronic drum kit, when he has mounted the whole kit, but can't play it, because he didn't receive these accesories?

About the accessory pack:

Quality looks fair. Headphones are surely not the best I had/bought in my life. Especially the lower sound range deceives. And, don't know if it is true, but they always told me you should use nylon tip drumsticks when playing electronic drums, and not wooden tip drum sticks. Well... this accessory kit for electronic drums contains wooden tip drum sticks...

Came as a freebie with my Vdrum kit. stool OK, sticks OK, pedal not brilliant have replaced with Mapex 950a which is great for me.

This accessory pack is all you would need as a first-time drum kit owner to get you off the ground without stalling! Sure, the items in the pack aren't top of the line, but if you haven't played much before then they do the job perfectly.

A very handy addition to any beginner's kit purchase.

The drums were exactly what I was looking for.

They were easy to put together and have a very good sound

Roland Td4k - Superb product, totally rock solid build, fantastic value for money with regards to quality of parts.Sounds realistic due to real drum samples and with a small amount of tuning emulates a real acoustic set and on the snare very well indeed. Ive played for many years but never electronic, this kit has converted me at home now, i can practice to my hearts content. Versatility is almost never ending with the TD4. The only weak point, although only a weak point in comparison to the rest of the kit, would be The bass drum trigger pad. The pad is very unrealistic like kicking a wooden block, but still for this price on the whole the kit is superb especially if you add a Roland KD-9 bass drum pad.It also copes well with amplification, im using a 300watt monitor and the sound, although Bass heavy at higher volumes, is superb.I would highly rate any of these later Roland kits to anyone.

This pack meant you could start playing straight away, as i would be fed up to buy a kit and then find out there was no bass pedal. The pedal and stool are ideal and no need to upgrade yet, but i have only given 4* as the headphones do not have enough noise isolation but i would not expect this for the price. I will probably be upgrading these but are fine to start with. Andertons customer srvices have been helpful with some recommendations that i amthinking about. For the price this is great value and ensures you have everything to start drumming.

A fantastic accessory set to help you start up with E Drums and supplied at not extra cost !

The throne and pedal are Mapex, standard kit but well built and sturdy !

The phones are good quality considering they're base level Stagg headphones.

The sticks are ideal for playing E Drums (5A) so again a big thumbs up for Andertons !

The stool, kick pedal, sticks and headphones are all good quality and fit in great with my new kit.

Great set of accessories. Comfortable throne, good pedal with good reaction speed. Sticks, not my favourite as I prefer nylon tips to wooden and there was no choice. But overall well worth the spend

I received this kit free with my Roland TD-4KX V-drum kit. I am overall very pleased with the quality of the accessory kit, and is good value for money even if not free.

The stool is very comfortable and portable, and it is easy to adjust the height on it. I do sometimes find that it creaks slightly when I rotate while sitting down but this is not a major problem.

The drum sticks are good, though not as strong as some other pairs you can buy from a music shop. I tend to use my other sticks for my V-drum kit personally, but these sticks are a good and light starting pair.

The headphones are of very good quality also, and they come with an adapter that lets you plug it into an amplifier or a V-Drum kit, which I found very useful.

I'd say the kick pedal is reasonable as well. It feels quite sturdy and of good build quality, though I often found it slipping from the bass pad of my V-drum kit. I also found personally that the spring has come off a few times, due to the nut loosening on the bottom of the pedal. Having said that, it is easy to readjust.

This is excellent value for money, especially if you purchase it with a drum kit where you can get this package for free. Would highly recommend.

Excellent, far better than expected. Given that Andertons are giving these away free, you would expect each of the accessories to be a bit naff...not at all! The throne is sturdy and compfortable, the sticks are good, and luckily for me they are the size I usually play with anyway!!! The bass pedal is sooo usefull as for some reason the Roland kit I got doesn't get shipped with one, and the headphones are good to. Can not fault it.

Great stool, reasonable sticks, didn't expect to get headphones (there's a bonus), and reasonable drum pedal. Just starting out, but goes well with drum kit

Service - Excellent customer service. I contacted andertons via phone and email throughout the process and found them to be helpful and friendly.

The product - Coudln't be mroe pleased! The whoel things looks beautiful, very high quality and professional. Really easy to set up and get to grips with. The first preset kit (v-drums) is probably the best all rounder!

Recording with the v-drums couldn't be easier and i've had some great results!

The only bad thing I can say is that the kit isn't quiet. Certainly much less noise than an acoustic kit but the bass drum especially makes quite a noise on wooden floors!

The products we're very handy in getting me up and going straight away on my new DM10. I was however expecting a pair of Vic Firths as pictured on the website, but received a 'no-name' brand of sticks. All-in-all I'm quite happy with the quality of the pack.

Great bundle for first time drummers. Would recommend buying own sticks though as the ones that come with the kit aren't great, but rest of the bundle is of good quality and wont be needed to be replaced any time soon.

As a freebie with an electronic drumkit, it's very difficult to fault. Pedal is light with a fast release and action. Stool is very solid and comfortable. Headphones are ok - but given they're free with the kit, hard to grumble. Overall, a useful package.

The pack of free items that came with my electric drum kit is fantastic! The headphones in particular are excellent. I'm very impressed with the quality of this pack and the level of service from Andertons. Thanks.

nice little pack.. good throne, nice strong pedal, earphones let it down a little, but still worth 5 stars..

As a freeby with the already budget alesis dm5 kit, this set of goodies, (stool, bass drum pedal, sticks and cans) is outstanding! Particular mention must go to the bigdog bass drum pedal, which is solid, easy to adjust and complements the alesis bass drum pad really well.

I got this kit with my roland drum set.

The kick pedal is a big dog, and very solid and robust, really nice motion and easily adjustable.

Headphones work great with my roland kit, really comfy so when your in the groove they don't give you ear ache.

Im very impressed with the chair, comfy and solid. Folds neatly, and all adjusted with a drum key thats supplied, so no tools requiered on the road.

Sticks are sticks, and they do the job fine for the average player!

Suporisingly good quality

5 stars - partly because they were free with an e-drum kit but also for the quality of the important bits. Sticks - good wooden tipped - these I have or can buy easily but the throne and kick pedal are good quality - essentially the pedal is well-balanced and chain controlled with a reasonable feel to it and the throne, once set up felt secure, even on a carpet. Headphones were clear, light and felt good. Once the sound variables were set up on the kit and volumes set, then they compared well to Sennheisers that I normally use (long lead and in-line volume control - good). Note that although the set was valued at £67, the pedal alone is worth more than that!

The Alesis DM5 Pro kit is a great product which came with lots of free extras at an unbelievable price. This electronic kit not only sounds great but has a good sturdy frame with robust fixings. I did not expect such high quality for a kit at this price. It arrived well packed and on time. Well done Andertons.

The Electronic Drum Kit Pro Accessory Pack is a great idea, I've previously been using the Mapex drum stool which was included in the pack for over 5 years now and it's still as good as new and surprisingly comfortable. The bass drum pedal is just as good as some of the more expensive models such as "Big Dog". Also included in the pack is a drum key which every drummer needs, a standard pair of drum sticks and a really useful headset which can be plugged directly into any electronic kit (including a "Headphone to Jack" cable), the sound quality is great and stay firmly on the ears when playing.

Andertons included this great kit with my DM5 Pro kit. It was included free with the kit but must eb worth £60 plus. The throne is great and the headphones are very high quality. Well done Andertons - great service and quality products.
