Applications

The DT 990 PRO is an open dynamic headphone of
exceptional quality suitable for the most demanding
professional and audiophile applications. The reduced
weight of the diaphragm and moving coil result in a similar
pulse characteristic as electrostatic headphones, and in
combination with a carefully tailored frequency response
offer a natural and balanced sound.
Soft ear pads and adjustable, sliding, earpieces together
with a very flexible coiled cable ensure listening comfort
during extended periods of use.

I'm using these right now and they are very good - clear, detailed, accurate, comfortable.
I did have a problem with the first pair sent as they had a buzz in the right channel. However, Andertons performed a quick turn around and arranged a hastle free replacement. I'll keep coming back if service is this good!!

Great sounding flatish headphones for the money. You'd need to spend £400 for truly flat headphones so big thumbs up!

I have DT770's for tracking and the quality of those is excellent, so when it came to choosing a set of open back headphones for checking mixes i got these without any hesitation! They are great, a touch bass heavy but they do extend down way below 20hz. What I find them best for is sorting out low and mid bass. If that region sounds good on these then you mixes should transfer well to other speakers and headphones. Finally, the velvet earcups feel great on! I can wear these for hours on end and forget i have them on sometimes!

the best i have ever tried, great freq response. Love the closed headshells, im amazing at how low you need the levels. Best buy
