I was born and raised in London, England. I began learning the Piano and Guitar at thirteen years of age and later studied composition and orchestration. I trained at the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama as an undergraduate, and Surrey University studying classical guitar and composition on a Masters Degree programme under Dr S.Goss: For many years my career was in the shadows. I spent my time composing, learning all I can about music and teaching. Then at 30 years old everything changed in 2006! A random publicity e mail resulted in being asked to perform live on air at the BBC Radio studios in Tunbridge Wells. I was interviewed just after the performance. Shortly afterwards I made my London debut performing at the beautiful St Paul's Church , Covent Garden, London. Around the same time I was signed to my record company Pixie Tricks...and then the following year have been asked to record my next Classical Guitar cd with MSR classics. Currently I am active as a full time !
musician, teaching the Guitar (I now have 82 pupils) and performing and composing too. Music is my life and I am passionate about ALL styles of music and love playing and writing for the acoustic and electric guitar. My ambition is to create a piece of music that is new and exciting for the electric and Classical guitar.
Teaching is not something I have done as an afterthought but a way as a musician to improve too and pass on my love for my instrument. |
