When you're playing live, it's vital to be able to hear what you and the rest of your band are doing. Wedge monitors such as the Laney CXP112 allow you to have discreet speakers at your feet pointing up at you, allowing you to hear everything. the Laney CXP112 is a small, yet powerful speaker with a 3 band EQ for customisable sound.

Awesome little monitor. Not too heavy, great sound! Would recommend for any singer in need of a good on stage sound.

I checked out the competition and this seemed to come up trumps - I preferred the idea that the EQ adjustment is right in front of you for quick adjustment rather than fiddling about around the side of the cabinet. Also, I find the shape of this cabinet is less intrusive on stage space than the alternative vertical shape. So far I have found that the sound of the 12" speaker is warm and ample for a typical pub or bar type of venue.

I have had one of these units for over a year which I have used as a vocal and drum monitor. The other band members were so impressed that I have now bought another one to use as a front monitor with the original one and upgraded mine with a CXP115 monitor for my drums/vocals.

Our singer can hear herself clearly now, hurrah!! Compact size wedge monitor that delivers a clear sound at a good volume.
