Stagg Economy Boom Mic Stand - Black

Unwrapped this mike stand minutes before a live gig. Cant really rave about it though as it is a cheap mike stand -and it kind of feels like that too - but so far, 3 or 4 gigs in,it hasn't broken and does what its supposed to. Early days, I suppose but it seems ok so far and if it lasts then its worth it.

Great piece of kit and great value for the price. Holds my mike well in position and is easily adjusted to suit the angle at which you want to position it. Overall, I am delighted with my purchase. Would recommend.

Pretty good quality for the price. Obviously this isnt going to be good enough for live use or heavy use for that matter. For a home studio its very good.

Good for light duty work but if you are gigging heavily, get something more solid.

This product described as economy but is just as good as products over twice the price I would have no hesitation to buy again.

Not the most rugged or robust of stands but more than good enough for use in my small home studio. I've used it with an Rode NT2A with shock-mount on it and it does need careful placement with such a load as stability can be a problem but with a typical Sure type dynamic mic for instance, it is more than adequate. Great price, useful day to day work-horse mic stand. Recommended and when I bought it, great service in store.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do!

I have got Stagg guitar stands so I wanted a mic stand to match. The quality is superb and I can't fault it. I don't know why you need to spend any more money on a stand, it does it's job and I am very pleased with it. I would always buy Stagg for these sort of products in my opinion there is no better.

Cheap but very sturdy and reliable. It looks great and no different from any of the more expensive models that I looks at. Spot on.

This mic stand does exactly what it says it should and represents good value for money.

Be aware that the stand does not come with a Mic clip.

Don't be fooled by the 'economy' tag: this is a capable enough mic stand. There are metal parts where others might be plastic - e.g. the twist grip for height adjustment; the tripod base.

For use at home, studio or any other non-touring situation, this is excellent value.

Does what it says on the tin - I got this for occassional home recording so I'm dragging it around gigs or using big mics. It probably wouldn't stand up to too much punishment and can be a bit droopy when it is isn't completely tightened up but for the price I think it's pretty good if you only need something for light / occasional use.

Perfect bit of kit for an every day mic stand. Good build quality that feels expensive but is only around £20. My old stand had bad brewer's droop so I was ending up singing and playing my bass on my knees. Not a good look. Thanks

Very sturdy and balanced mic stand for the price. You cannot have enough stands when you are recording and at this price I am very pleased. I use it for vocals, guitar and piano and found it easy to adjust and kept its setting perfect without having to turn the knobs super tight. Recommended.

Do not be fooled by the low price of this product. This is a very sturdy microphone stand of high quality. I use it with the Rhode NT1A in my home studio and couldn't have hoped for a better stand. Versatile, easy to adjust, and stays put. I would not hesitate to make the same choice again.
