Introducing the essential effects unit for all vocalists. The Mic Mechanic from TC Helicon is designed for plug and play vocal professionalism! Featuring reverb, delay, pitch correction, and tone shaping, vocalists can now take control of their sound and relax into the gig, safe in the knowledge that out front, they are going to sound great!

The best thing about the Mic Mechanic is that it is so easy for anyone to use. You don't have to be into your outboard and your gadgets in order to use it - any singer will be able to pick it up and sound great very quickly, without relying on the sound engineer!

To demonstrate just how easy it is, we made a first look video (watch it below now!) where the guys in the video had never used the Mic Mechanic before. Check out how easy it was for them to get a great sounding vocal tone!

Here's what TC Helicon say about the VoiceTone Mic Mechanic

Vocal stompbox for instant Reverb, Delay, Pitch Correction and Tone

What every singer needs

  • Mic Mechanic gives you a complete vocal toolbox in a compact, easy-to-use pedal. Take it anywhere and always sound your best.
  • Top quality TC-Helicon vocal effects
  • Simple controls, right at your fingertips
  • Reverb, Delay, Pitch Correction and Tone

Reverb straight from the studio

Reverb is the most essential vocal effect, used in practically every venue and recording studio in the world. Picked from the flagship VoiceLive series, the lush Reverbs in Mic Mechanic surround your voice with a great sense of space - small or large.

Delay. Delay. Delay.

From short slapback echoes to long repeating phrases, Delay adds that special "something" to your vocal sound. Use the Tap Tempo feature and time the delays to match your music perfectly.

Perfectly pitched

Auto Chromatic Pitch Correction gently guides you towards the "true" note you're singing. When you're just a bit flat or sharp, Mic Mechanic steps in and gives you a little - or a large - nudge in the right direction. It can be transparent or used as an effect, whichever you like.

Sound your best with Adaptive Tone

Mic Mechanic dynamically adjusts EQ, Compression, De-Essing and Gating - providing you with great tone all the time. Get a great vocal sound regardless of your sound system or sound tech.

Control it with your Mic

You can control Mic Mechanic effects from anywhere on stage with TC-Helicon's MP-75 Modern Performance Vocal Microphone (optional).

The Mic Mechanic is a must for singing live. I am not the strongest of vocalists and using the Mic Mechanic, it gives me a confidence in knowing that my voice is filled out and solid. I have not yet gotten to grips with everything it does, but so far, so brilliant!

was looking for some thing to give my voice a bit of a boost, and keep me in check with the tuning, so at a little over £100 this looked like a good prospect. . . and it was.

The compression, de-essing and EQ make a real difference to the sound quality, I'm running with the auto correction permanently on at around 60%.

I ran comparison tests at home using logic to record the same vocal part until I reached a setting that seemed right - and listening back to the setting without and with Mic mechanic its a pretty good upgrade to my vocals.

As for the other effects, I only really use Delay occasionally, and normally its tapped to the song, as a keyboard player I have the luxury of leaving it on the top of the keyboard and fiddling with it, enables me to add tapped delay to songs for effect.

All in all, a good product at this price what's not to like?

I use the VoiceTone Mic Mechanic pedal to add reverb and/or delay to my trebble recorder playing. My overall sound has been enhanced significantly. The pedal itself is relatively compact and easy to carry around, even for a musician without much experience of lugging round a kit bag. If you are the soul woodwind player in a band otherwise represented by guitarists and vocalists, this pedal is well worth your consideration. I would also recommend taking a look at the companion MP75 microphone as I certainly find its effect toggle switch further improves convenience.
