TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch

The TC Helicon Voicelive Touch is a touchscreen based vocal FX unit that mounts easily on a mic stand for instant live control of your vocal sound at your fingertips! You don't need any additional accessories to mount the Voicelive touch, and it also rests neatly on any desktop.

As well as all the vocal effects you would expect, the Voicelive touch has intelligent harmonies, guitar and MIDI inputs (for controlling harmonies with an external instrument) and VLOOP Performance Vocal Looping to make your vocal peroformances even more dynamic and interesting.

MP75 Mic integration

You can use the TC Helicon MP75 Microphone (supplied separately) with mic control to control certain functions on the TC Helicon Voicelive Touch. Just ensure you have the latest firmware installed on your Voicelive touch and you can use an MP75 mic to control any button or shortcut on your Voicelive Touch. You could start the looper from the MP75 mic, or add a harmony with the touch of a button without having to be near your VLT!

We have installed the latest Voicelive Touch Firmware on all of our units. The MP75 microphone can be 'checked out' using the link in the Optional Extras section below.

Excellent Concept with the mic stand fitment. At last an FX unit that has all the effects at your fingertips that can make you sound like the artistes of today's music. The FX can be used with a guitar or keyboard "midi signal" and there is even a 3.5 mini jack socket for a laptop or mp3 signal.

A deceptively simple device to use but with incredible potential even if the depth of programming appears somewhat limited. There is so much on offer that I doubt you will be left wanting. The harmonies sound great, especially the choirs

This is an excellent addition to any vocalists kit bag (assuming you use a PA of some kind). It's not cheap, but the harmony effects it creates are a delight to listen to.

The interface is a little "special" - it really could have done with a bigger display - or rather , a display that could show more information.

However, you don't really want to be using it that much during a performance, so you should just have your set programmed into your favourites.

The Voicelive Touch is the perfect companion to the performing vocalist and guitarist or keyboard player. The mic stand mounting is genius and works really well and the controls are very easy to navigate and intuitive, well laid-out and easy to find in the semi-dark of a stage.

Getting almost all of the processing and effects of the Voicelive 2 for about 2/3 of the price, plus the convenience of not having to crawl on the floor to adjust settings is very welcome. It works really well with my Les Paul, I was able to use a jack splitter at the input of my guitar FX unit and feed the dry guitar signal to the Voicelive - tracking of key was perfect.

Negative points? The wall-wart power supply is cheap and tacky, and I give it about 6 months life in regular stage use. I've also found that the balanced output doesn't play well with a big PA system, and I've had to use a DI box on the unbalanced output to get a good clean signal without hum or interference.

Positives? Overwhelmingly positive: a superb unit with world class vocal effects and harmony processing. Gives your performance a polished studio-quality edge and really boosts confidence.
