M Audio SP2 Piano Style Sustain Pedal

The M-Audio SP-2 Sustain Pedal is the perfect product for keyboard players who want the most realistic pedal action. The SP-2 model is used in the same manner as the sustain pedal on an acoustic piano. This classic-style pedal works with any M-Audio keyboard. Designed to work and feel just like an acoustic piano's sustain pedal, it has a specially designed rubber bottom that grips the floor and stays put while you play. The SP-2 is a high-quality switchable damper pedal.

Does exactly what it says on the box. Its nice to use, not too loose, not too tight.

This pedal works really well and will work with both Yamaha and Roland keyboards since you can change the polarity. (Make sure you move the switch before plugging the pedal into the instrument - or you may find it works in reverse).

The pedal comes with a plastic cover to protect the chrome when you are wearing shoes. Don't throw it away thinking its part of the packaging like I did.

Worth noting that the the first pedal I got clicked noisily when you pushed the pedal down - probably needed some grease. However Anderton's replaced it for another which works perfectly. Suggest you try it out before leaving the shop - but guess mine was an exception since this pedal has excellent reviews everywhere.

A great all round sustain pedal for keyboards. Great ‘plug in and play’ design that works with most keyboards. Nice and heavy so that it doesn’t move when you put your foot down on it, and the pedal itself has a nice springy feel, just like a good piano pedal should. Cheep as well. Nice one M-Audio!

Top quality pedal from M-Audio. Works with any electronic keyboard new and old - I've used it with a battered 15 year old Yamaha and a new Korg and it works perfectly on both. Very well made, great design, doesn't slide around on the floor thanks to its rubber sole and perfect weight. Highly recommended!
