    I am going to review the Boss EV5 expression pedal. I bought this pedal to use in conjuction with my Foxrox Aquavibe. The EV5 when plugged into the Aquavibe will allow me to control the speed of the Vibe on the fly.

    I think the EV5 is a very simple pedal that does a simple job. The construction of the unit is of a good standard but it does seem to be all plastic and for the over zealous heavy footed types they might want to go a little easy.

    The EV5 does not affect tone in any way and is generally a good addition to my rig.

    I reccommend this pedal to anybody that wants it to do a similar job as to what I bought it for, I would have liked to have seen a metal enclosure but unless you've got anchors tied to your feet, I doubt that this unit will break under gig adrenaline usage.

    Does what it says on the tin. I brought mine for use with a Boss SYB-5 Synth pedal and it works perfectly.

    Acceptably priced, but for what it does (e.g nothing on its own) seemed a little expensive. Does help bring the synth pedal to life though.
