Ever dreamed of the day when you could fit your whole studio on your back?

Well, that day has come as the custom Novation gig bags are now on sale. There are three sizes to choose from, designed to fit a 25-key (2-octave), 49-key (4-octave) and 61-key (5-octave) keyboard/controller. The bags are ideally suited to fit the X-Station (all sizes) and SL (smallest and largest) ranges, as well as KS ranges, the K-Station and the Nova.

All bags have a front pocket for a laptop, with ample room for a 15" Mac or PC, in addition to side/front pockets for microphones, headphones and other cables. All bags have a top handle for hand carrying as well as a shoulder strap.

Novation's new laptop bags are designed to carry a whole lot more than just your laptop.

The bag will fit all Novation 25 key Synths or MIDI controllers, such as the X-Station 25 or ReMOTE 25SL. An additional divide can be used if you wish to split the compartment and house headphones, cables and other accessories. This space is also ideally sized to house either Focusrite's desktop Saffire solutions, a Novation nio 2|4 or the new Nocturn.

The laptop space is large enough to house a 17" laptop (without using protective sleeve), complete with velcro straps to secure it. Additionally, a space for sheet music is provided on the rear and the bag features both a handle and shoulder strap.

Finally, while limited stocks last, the Novation laptop bag ships with a free laptop protector, protecting your laptop from the rigors of the road.

    Not much to say other than it's a well made bag with a good amount of pockets and plenty of protection. It's an over the shoulder strap rather than backpack style and the colour is a bit boring (hence the 4 not 5 star rating for these two things), then again having a brighter colour means it's more likely to attract attention and get nicked.
