So far its been excellent, not to mention the free upgrade to POD farm 2 as well! Worked out the box, the sounds are excellent. I got it so I could practice and record some ideas and its perfect fro both.

For the modest price this is a great bit of kit for recording and practicing guitar. To date I've tended to use it to lay down some chord sequences to practice/write lead parts….. although I'm sure I could do a lot more in time. The software was really easy to install on a PC and connected first time without difficulty. The drag and drop interface for amps, effects and speakers etc is very intuitive and took minutes to master. There are loads of presets for different guitar sounds including some great classic rock tones that sound eerily like the originals. The only thing I’m not so sure of is the Ableton Lite recording software which comes bundled and seems a bit tricky to master (might just me though). The Riff Works software on the other hand (which can also be used for recording a limited number of tracks) is pretty easy to use. On the whole a very satisfactory system but make sure you think about what you want to use it for before buying.

Fantastic bit of kit! Easy to install and get working. The presets are great and is easy as pie to create your own set up. The Ableton and riff works software that comes with it is great and easy to use. With in a few days I had already recorded my first song. Its some impressive that when i showed my brother he went and bought it the next day!

Pod Farm and Ableton, both of which come with the Pod Studio, work well together giving you the opportunity to produce any guitar sound you could ever want to record your own music. Or even to just jam along with classic songs, there's presets on Pod Farm to get exactly the sound you need. I think I'll be using this for years to come and all for a great price.
