The e 902 is a dynamic cardioid instrument microphone, which was designed for lowest bass signals with very high sound pressure levels.
It is suitable for kick drums, bass guitar-amps, tuba, and other bass instruments.

    This is one of the best dedicated kick microphones i think i've ever used! It has the perfect presence peak to capture all the attack of the kick and doesn't have that overblown low end that many other kick mics suffer from. I'd recommend this for studio or live work! It works great on it's own and if you do want more low end add a sub kick or LDC outside the front of the drum and blend the signals together!
