I got the m-audio prokeys sono 61 a few weeks ago and I'm liking it a lot! The feel of the semi-weighted keys is nice and the sampled pianos are very good quality. Reverb and chorus effects are nice as well.

It does not have any speakers so you have to use headphones/monitors but on the good side it's actually very portable and the fact that it makes as an audio interface/midi controller and electric piano is what really made me decide going for it.

As an audio interface it does well. I just had some problems with the drivers on windows 7 but that was because of my HP pavilion laptop's chipset (if you have a AMD Puma platform be sure to have the "USB audio filter driver" installed. with this installed you should have no problems. it seems that this goes for other m-audio audio interfaces as I found on forums). So far I have recorded a couple of times from the mic input and the on board sounds and i'm very pleased. As a midi controller it doesn't offer lots of control apart from sending the keys, pitch, mod and one cc from the "voice volume" knob but that's ok if you have other control surfaces to play with your DAW.

Having the intrument and mic inputs, as well as another line level input, you can easily use it for playing with others and recording yout stuff in a straight forward way.

I enjoy a lot playing on it as it is really nice to get the on-board sounds as quick as you turn it on. I recommend this keyboard if you are looking for a all in one product that is simple to use. Overall: great product!
