Gator Deluxe ABS Case to fit Yamaha APX style guitars

Bought this case for my Regal RC2 resonator that came in a cardboard box! The really helpful staff at Anderons brought out several cases until they realised that the Gator APX case might be a good fit and so it proved - a perfect fit.

The case is really solid and feels bomb-proof. Three catches, chromed feet so it can stand on edge or end. Only annoyance is that one of the two webbing ribbons that hold the top open does not fold nicely into the case on its own when you close it, meaning that you have a black ribbon sticking out the bottom. Gator seem twist the ribbon when they attach it to cause it to fold inwards as it closes but this hasn't worked on the right hand ribbon. So I have to tuck it in manually as I close the case each time - not a big deal. I may try to iron a crease in it at some point.

I would buy another Gator and in fact may do so for my Telecaster that only came with a gig bag.

Got this case as part of a special offer from Andertons and am very happy with it. I'm planning to use it to take the Yamaha APX to Crete and feel confident in putting it in the hold of the plane. Another advantage is that it fits the Fender Marauder, which I was finding it difficult to get a case for.

The guitar fits in nicely in this hard case and there is a small compartment to store some small items such as the cord to the amplifier.

I bought this case for a Vintage V300 acoustic & it fits like a glove. could not be better. case has studs to stand on its base or side. Light & trim
