I first came across these when they were supplied by the PA company on a European tour I did in the summer, and was so impressed I bought my own when I got home! Sturdily made but light, easy to open and adjust, very stable, and more than substantial enough to hold a heavy 5-string bass securely. The spring-loaded retainers make removing and returning the bass to the stand a breeze. An excellent product - 5 stars.
