This stand does exactly what you would expect it to. Thanks to its easy click in place structure it takes seconds to put it up and down. I would have liked the grip around the neck to be locking.
But I can confirm that this stand comfortibly holds both an explorer and EX body types, it will not hold any V shaped guitars as the stand for the body is too low to the ground.

This is an excellent stand, very well made and stable (even on carpeted floors). It looks as though it will be durable and is certainly much better in all respects than other, cheaper options.
I ordered online and found Anderton's service, as usual, was fantastic and on the phone the staff were polite and very helpful.
