Bought this guitar stand for my son's new guitar. He is very pleased with it. It was incredibly easy to assemble - it took less than a minute - and the neck support makes it really secure.

Good stand, ideal for my electro-acoustic. Reasonably small footprint and the neck 'lock' helps prevent guitar falling in the event of being knocked.

This is a well-built guitar stand, which is also very quick to set up. It makes my acoustic look really good and keeps it securely out of the way when not in use. The locking clip at the top of the stand makes me feel safe about the guitar not falling off in case the stand gets accidentally knocked, and this is particularly important for lightweight acoustic guitars. All round a great purchase and excellent value for money.

Excellent guitar stand. Good value - well built. I feel comfortable putting my Martin acoustic in this baby - not flimsy like others I've used. Solid construction - feels like it's going to last a good while.

Great stand, holds both my acoustic and my Les Paul electric. Holds the guitar well, won't be falling out any time soon. Does the job well, and at a very reasonable price.

I originally went to purchase a stand for a Flying V which was going to cost £30, but when I explained what I wanted to one of the staff, he said that the Stagg stand for £11 was all I really needed. He was right, and it's unusual to be talked into a less expensive purchase. I appreciated the honesty and the savings.

Excellent product and a good price. Feels solid and supports my guitar well. Has an extended arm at the back to support the neck and reduce the chances of the guitar being knocked over.

Inexpensive and works well - I bought two. Seems obvious once you know, but at first it wasn't clear that the Y-shaped support bracket had to be pushed hard against the foam coating and then turned to lock it. The neck clip is a useful bonus.

Not much you can say about a guitar stand.

It works great, don't be put off by the cheap price this is sturdy, padded in all the right places and not flimsy like some of the cheaper guitar stands.

I'll buy another when I need another stand.

I've paid over £30 for stands in the past, and this one (for a little over £10) is equally good! Pretty solid, well padded and the lil catch on the neck support gives a bit of extra protection too - just be careful that the base support is properly and securely attached before popping yer pride & joy on it, as the foam padding initially didn't let the twisting mechanism lock into place!!

The tripod stand is really sturdy and works well in a carpeted area. I have no worries about my guitar falling over using this product. Excellent value-for-money.

This was the first time I have bought anything from Andertons and found the customer service excellent. I will definitely be purchasing from them again in the future :)

What can I say about this stand... It does what it says - holds a guitar securely, and safely, good padding on the neck and base supports, solid tripod base so it doesn't slip... The only issue preventing me giving this five stars is that it doesn't fold down in one piece for transport - instead, the base support section unclip/unscrews whilst the rest of it folds up. If you're only looking for something to hold your guitar at home, then it's ideal, and it's not a total pain more a minor irk if you're using it on the road a lot. But, as I reserve five stars for products that exceed my expectations in every way, four stars it is.

Note: I've only tested it with traditional shaped guitars so far - My Les Paul and strats - I'm not sure how well it would handle something like an explorer or flying-v.

It's OK and I am pleased with the purchase but care is needed especially with long scale heavy wooden bass guitars. The stand is a simple and light weight design finished in black. The cushioning for the base of the guitar and the neck are a soft foam which should protect fine wood guitars & basses. Other makes I have use a more solid rubber sleeve.

The Stagg stand holds the instrument very upright (approx 10deg), so care needs to be used with positioning it in the stand so as not to a) put the base of the instrument too far forward so that all the weight on the front of stand or b) put the base of the instrument too far back so that it is even more upright an liable to topple forward with the slighest knock

I purchased this with a Warwick Bass hence the above experience. I have other stands which hold the instrument with a grearer lean (25deg) which means I am not so worried about precise placement.

Its a reasonably solid tripod stand.

Stagg state that rubber tubing on the stand is not safe for nitro finishes (although i haven't found a stand manufacturer that will guarantee this anyhow) , this is not a problem for me as i remove the tubing and re-cover the frame with the fluffy material you find in guitar cases (can be found in shops like Hobby Craft).

It does what it say's on the tin shame it isn't nitro friendly.
