Double-Braced Stand for Guitar Amps or Speakers

Fits most 1x12, 2x10 & 2x12 Guitar Amps or Speaker Cabinets.

By using the BS317 & angling the amp slightly upwards, players can stand right in front of their amp & still hear the amp properly. You won't need to turn the amp up to 10 to hear it, which is good for you, your band mates & your audience!

Please note, if your amp is less than 29cm wide, it is too small for this stand. please also check the weight of your amp, as this stand is only designed to hold amps up to 45kg (100lbs).

Adjustment Range
Front tier: 8.25"" to 11"" - 21 to 28 cm
Back tier: 11.4"" to 18.6"" - 29 to 47.2 cm

Folded height: 22"" - 56cm
Frame tube size: 20 x 15 mm

Good points: robust, light weight and also folds flat, does a fantastic job of lifting your sound off the floor and projecting it up in to the room.

Bad points: annoyingly the bar that supports the back of the amp sits exactly where the rear panel is for power, effects loop and channel switch inputs - this means i have to either adjust it to be facing too much toward the ceiling, or just far enough forward it feels like it might tip forward... this is may vary from amp to amp so check it out before you buy!!

Well worth the money. The stand is very lightweight but very sturdy at the same time. I have a fender Mustang 3 on it at the moment and its spot on. Very simple to use and adjust amp angle.

    A great item.

Bought for an amp that I returned but kept this for future usage.

It is very sturdy, provided by the locking 'teeth' like discs. Great for recording amps and for general playing because you can hear the amp, rather than your feet hearing it!

Excellent and useful bit of kit from quiklok.

Excellent, simple, well-engineered bit of kit. Very easy to set up and adjust, and works beautifully with my new Fender Super Champ XD. Wish I'd bought one earlier, as it makes a huge difference to the sound when playing at home. I now get the full tone I paid for - before it was just my feet getting the best sound! Highly recommended.

Although I usually use headphones when I practise (who in their right mind wants to listen to someone work their way through Terrifying Technique for Guitar for up to an hour at a time), but when I've actually nailed a solo I like to hear it through a loudspeaker rather than headphones. Like previous reviewers I was fed up of my feet being the recipient of the sound hence the search for a stand.

I decided on the Quiklok BS317 for the following reasons. It's easy to set up and adjust and angles the loudspeaker towards your ears. I've got two combos a Marshall MG50FX and an Orange Crush 20LDX and also a Vox Li'Night Train Set, I use the stand for the speaker cab. While each combo or cab has its own 'best fit' position I've found that two positions are acceptable for bedroom practise, (Orange/Marshall and Orange/Vox). If I'm using headphones I invariably use the Orange but if I want to use two channels or require a valve sound I've got to change amps, the Quiklok allows me to do that with the minimum of fuss. When not in use the Quiklok folds up and can be stored anywhere that you could fit something thats about 12cm wide, 50cm long and 55cm high. Ok, it's difficult to go into raptures about an amp stand but at £37 it's a cheap way to improve what you hear.

An excellent piece of kit that brings the amp's controls within easy reach. Also, getting the amp off the floor and pointing a little upwards makes the upper frequencies more apparent.

So, not only does it make the amp easier to use, it also makes it sound better.

    What a great deal!

Good strong piece of equipment. Slightly confusing at first on how it works but very useful

I bought this because I was tired of having the speaker cone point directly at my feet and calves and always preferred the sound when it was pointing towards my ears so rather than having the amp placed on a shelf I got an amp stand.

After having a quick check on ebay, amazon etc I plumped for the quicklok stand and as I've always had a very positive experience with Andertons it was a no-brainer I bought it from them.

Upon arrival I was impressed on how it folded away like a deck chair for easy storage and minimal fuss. It has a very simple mechanism of just unscrew the edged plate, position the rest at the desired height then re-tighten. It has rubber feet and ends on the poles so your amp isn't tarnished and would not slide off even if kicked.

It does exactly what it says on the tin so don't expect a revolution in amp stands but it is a great piece of kit. Well built, easy to pack away and lightweight, perfect for small gigs and bedroom practice. Highly recommended.
