- What does this mean?
Whirlwind Elite Jack to Jack 18.5 ft
Whirlwind is one of the world's best known cable makers, so you know that you will be getting a quality cable when you buy something with the Whirlwind name on it. You might be surprised just how much difference a cable makes in a guitar rig so ensure you invest in one that you know is made with strict quality controls; made to last!
Here's what Whirlwind say...
Whirlwind was the first to introduce the "toaster cord" cloth covered instrument cable in 1990.
Now, back by popular demand - we've taken premium low capacitance guitar cable, surrounded it with heavy duty striped cloth braid (available in several colors) and capped it all off with a special gold plated Elite version of our famous Leader plug.
Add our ironclad lifetime warranty and you have the finest sounding and most durable guitar cable available today!

Actually the main purchase was a Joe Perry VOS 59 LP for GBP 5000. The cable was a freebie. (br/) (br/)PS: I am just about to send back my VAT refund form stamped at Heathrow and hoping this would be a trouble free transaction. Thanks

unfortunatley i cannot give a full review of this cable, because i have not as yet used it. the reason for this is because i currently use a Klotz lead that i have had for about 10years and a planet waves lead both of which are excellent leads, but on the looks and the feel of the lead, this looks and feels as good as both the other leads i have mentioned hence the 4stars, sorry i cannot give a more detailed review.

This is a good 5 star quality lead. However, the braided cable is less flexible than the rubber ones. Also the plugs are a little long which is less suitable for front mounted connection for those that like to windmill, but not an issue for side mounted connection (guitar that is).

Great service as expected now, nice "fresh" sound from lead. stiffnes of cable will take a bit of getting used to though.

I have not had this for long, but it appears to be a well built quality lead.

Excellent low noise transparent lead. Great quality and it really looks the business too!

Well made with good quality jacks. would have given it 5 stars if it was a bit more flexible.

Excellent quality lead. I received this as a free gift with my Marshall head, however excellent build quality.

I've used Whirlwind leads for 20 years. They sound great and last longer than any other lead I've tried. I've got a Whirlwind that I've gigged for over 10 years and it's still going strong. Why change?

Excellent tough cable, with gold jacks. Sounds great.
Not a lot to say about a cable but one thing of note is the way it coils really nicely. If you`d spent several minutes trying to decoil a cable mess you`d see this as a worthwhile feature!

Seems very hard-wearing, cable casing is quality and the jacks are great quality.
The sound is crisp and clear, perfect.
