Main Description

Saves your equipment from loud pops and squeals when you change guitars with a live amp.

When the button is pushed, the cable mutes while remaining plugged into your guitar, making on-stage guitar changes a snap, and eliminating any chance of sound bursts. Once the cable is muted, remove the cable from the guitar being used and plug the cable into the next instrument. Press the button again to reactivate the cable signal.

I'm a big fan of the Planet Waves range of cables generally. Never used the circuit breaker ones before but these are very solid, great connectors and the ability to cut with a chunky recessed button would be handy for anyone switching instruments in and out a lot on stage.

What a great idea! I have troden on my guitar lead so many times and pulled it out, to put it back the process of turning round to turn the volume down on the amp then picking the jack up plugging it in and turn the amp back up. with the circuit breaker lead you just pick the jack up push the button once to break the circuit, plug it in push the button once again to reconnect and get on with playing. Fantastic
