All the power and tone of the Marshall Class 5 now in a head version. The Class 5 head brings everything great about Marshall's flagship small low-wattage tube amp into head and cab format. Pair it up with the upcoming Class 5 cab, or any number of other 8 or 16 ohm Marshall cabinets. With 5w of power, many guitarists will even find it enough for a small gig. Mic it up and this thing will fill a stadium!

N.B. Cabinet shown is not included

I bought this amp (along with the Marshall Haze 1x12 cab) wanting a valve amp that was a bit more managable at bedroom practice levels however don't let the fact that it's only 5 watt fool you, this amp is still loud!

Now that is out the way I will say this amp is definitely for you if you want classic Marshall tone that is easy to drive naturally. Crank it up past 12 o'clock and you get a nice vintage sounding overdrive which has enough clarity to let each string ring out, or keep the volume dialled back for a clean sound that takes a tubescreamer (or whatever overdrive/distortion pedal you prefer) very well.

All in all I recommend this amp to anyone that loves classic Marshall tones.
