The "HT Venue" Series of amps is the latest great design in Blackstar's line of amps. These medium-priced, medium-powered amps deliver performance that is every bit as pro as their premium Series One line. If you need a little more power than the award-winning HT5, or you're too worried to take your beloved Artisan on the road, the HT Venue series is for you! The perfect solution for the working musician.

As you probably know, Blackstar are famous for being able to create highly versatile tube amps at incredible prices. Reviews

  • "[The HT Stage 100] looks smart, purposeful and way more expensive than its price tag might suggest."
  • "Both overdrive channels sound superb, with all the sustain and filth that we've come to expect from a Blackstar amp"
  • "Yes, there's plenty of competition in this price bracket, however, both the combo and head offer superb craftsmanship and solid robust electronics, combined with a tone and feature set that would give several boutique manufacturers a hard time."
  • "Aimed at hard-working amateurs or semi-pros but with the look, feel and reliability of top-flight pro equipment, we reckon the Stage amplifiers are likely to become the HT Venue range's most popular products."

I own a variety of guitars: Gibson Les Paul Classic, Gibson Flying V, Ibanez Paul Gilbert PGM30, with EMG pickups, Fender Jin Root Telelcaster and an Epiphone Les Paul with Gibson pickups fitted to beef up the guitar.

My amplifiers are Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Line 6 Bognor Spider Valve and now the fantastic Blackstar HT 100.

Each guitar sounds different regarding the EMG versus passive pickup set up when choosing which amplifier to play through. Its perhaps personal preference but I feel that the EMG loaded guitars sound immense through the Line 6 Spider Valve, and then the Gibson's passive pickups sound thin (very) by comparison. The Fender of course, especially the clean sound, sounds awesome in any guitar. But I have to say that the Blackstar HT 100 sounds absolutely fantastic with any guitar and further allows the character of each one to shine through with amazing clarity: the IPF function is very useful in achieving this.

This amp just makes you want to play and keep playing and the sounds on tap definitely bring out the best in keeping you utterly inspired.

For the price the Blackstar HT 100 is completely unbeatable.

I've just switched from Marshall to Blackstar and the difference is phenomenal! The clean sound is so much 'CLEANER' and the warmth from the OD1 channel gives such a beautiful contrast to the delights of distortion provided by OD2. The ISR feature is fantastic - turn the knob fully anti clockwise for an American sound e.g 'Sweet Child O' Mine' and fully clockwise to go retro British e.g 'You really got me'.

I'm overwhelmed by the quality of this amp and it comes at such an affordable price. I highly recommend the Blackstar HT Stage 100 head.

Absolutely fantastic 100 valve head. Three channels all of which sound amazing. Included 4 way footswitch makes channel switching easy and the ISF control realy does work.

Dirty channels offer real high gain with loads of fat bottom end. A great amp that realy rocks. What also amazed me was how quiet the amp is, no horrible hum or clicks.

I've been searching for a decade for an amp like this at this price!
