This gig bag, suitable for Thunderbird basses, is heavily padded and features plenty of extra storage for music books and accessories.

Here's what Roksak say about the G20 gig bag

Our new G20 series bags offer the perfect balance between lightweight instrument protection and value for money. In the February 2003 issue of 'Guitar Buyer' magazine, this superb range of bags was awarded the 'Seal Of Approval' in a survey of the U.K's major leading brands.

G20 Thunderbird Gig Bag Features

  • Waterproof, dustproof & tear resistant nylon.
  • Extra thick, well balanced & padded carrying handles.
  • All straps are stitched around the bag & riveted.
  • A4 zipped accessory pocket & headstock pocket.
  • Additional zipped mesh pocket.
  • Reinforced base of carbon fibre with nylon protectors.
  • Adjustable extra strong shoulder carrying straps.
  • 20mm high impact padding throughout.
  • Additional bridge & headstock protectors inside.
  • Wide double stitched opening with 2 zips.

Anyone who has ever owned a Thunderbird guitar will know they demand a much longer than standard bag to accommodate its odd shape. This ROKSAK gig bag does the trick comfortably and offers a useful arrangement of pockets for accessories while it is at it.

A nice touch is the velcro loop in the large front pocket for hanging your leads on which has solved the 'tangled in a mess' problem I used to suffer from.

My only criticism of the bag is that could use a more weighted and shaped insert for the bottom to balance it once the instrument is inside. As it is, it keeps the guitar protected (which is good) but doesn't solve its propensity to fall over when leant against anything. The only solution to this currently seems to be to purchase a hard case. Not the end of the world as otherwise a very good, value for money bag.
