BOSS FS-6

Two switches in one, the FS-6 combines the FS-5L (latch-type) and FS-5U (momentary-type) technology into one unit. With two switches side-by-side, the FS-6 allows you to select either latch or momentary mode for each switch. Choose the configuration that best suits your playing style and setup.

Both footswitches can be independently assigned as latch-type or momentary-type
Stereo input jack for single stereo cable connection
Can be connected to other footswitches (FS-5L/FS-5U/FS-6/AB-2) for extension
Connect to a wide variety of instruments, rhythm machines, guitar amps, and electronic devices that have control input jacks compatible with FS-5L/FS-5U

I have needed a latch or unlatch pedal for some years and kept putting it off - luckily as it happens as there is now a combined pedal. The pedals also have assignable functionality so if you need two latches, two unlatches or one of each- it can be done.
As with all Roland prducts it is very robust and very quiet, sure footed and not cumbersome.
I use it for triggering drum machines, Boss pedal interfacing, punching in for guitar soloing etc.,
It really is a great pedal and worth the price. Also, remarkably easy to recommend. Roland and Boss says it all!

These are really strong, well built fooswitches. I have a couple of these which I use at gigs all the time and they have never let me down.
The only snag is, they are powerd by a PP3 battery which is turned on when you plug in a lead, and I have on occassion forgotten to unplug it after use and the battery has gone flat.
Although this is expensive for a footswitch, you are paying for build quality not just the Boss name.
